I would personally love to see the humans evolving into eggs part from Alien directors cut further explained in Alien 5. But, my feeling is that, Blomkamp will most likely introduce new ideas and themes in the next instalment.

I also hope to see inside the derelict once again and maybe have a short investigation into the cargo. Maybe it has vases/ampules in the cargo hold. I have a feeling we will be introduced to the engineer inside the space jockey suit (dead of course.) Maybe the engineer from Alien looks slightly different from the Prometheus engineers?

i still feel the engineers developed their biomech suits to enable themselves to use the bio mech interfaces that the sj"s used. so that they could fly the ships etc. perhaps this where things went awry. their bio mech suits worked incorectly and the vases released their contents due to them not completely having the signature of a space jockey.

but this is about alien 5. so i guess that blomkamp will have his own ideas. hope they are good ones. !!!

Hey Odu/Necrom - I love your ideas on this, I think it would be great to see that further investigsted or at the very least hinted at. But I would like to be suprised as to what is actually underneath the Derilict Space Jockey skeleton. Something with a cool twist on it. And a way of explaining the changes in production value ( more bone-like and skeletal in Alien ) to the more streamilined-tech of Prometheus, was there something unique about the Derilict in particular? Also the height deferinsiation between what the Space Jockey wpuld have been stood up in full posture as compared to the Engineer who didn't seem to be of the same height.

I thought if there was some sort of virulentvirus that has suddenly begun ravaging large numbers of xenomorphic colonies spread throughout the galaxy, zombfying xenosso there are in effect two waring factions: the Xenomorph Puritans from Alien/Aliens and the other ravaged by infection hell bent on consuming ALL species that stand in there way. Think World War Z and I Am Legend except it is the Alien Xenomorphs that have become infected with a virrulent disease that is now threatening to cross over into Humans.

The Xenomorph Puritans want us to remain uninfected as they have designs set on us as incubators for their eggs and their species and cannot facehug an infected human as their instinctive biological self preservation makes them recoil from such an abomination to them. Ironically, humans could exploit this to wipe out the Xeno Puritans for good except e are now left with the zombi-husks of infected Xenos. We humans may hold they key and the antidote to destroy the infection, also, we get a glimps of other species throughout the galaxy that have been infected and zombi-fied (think Fifield in the cut and re-filmed version of his mutation attack) The Flood you may say and The Thing well I'm thinking that references to the Black Liquid could come into play here. Faced with this unrelenting alien-Xeno-zombi onslaught humans and Xenos at times may form an uneasy alliance and retreat to their own camps. Even some humans are now infected and it is spreading along designated space lanes. Also, an unexpected effect could be used to introduce newer hyberdise versions of the alien Xenos: MegaMorphs, UltraMorps and so on so rivalries between the Xeno Puritans territorial rights and diputes over rival territories...
