MemberOvomorphDec-22-2012 12:22 PM In our tour of Promethetues we do not see any 'spitual place' are area on thye ship.
It has been mentioned many times about the Spiritual overtones of the Engineers/Big Head Room/Creation of Life/Sacrifice as far as the Moon is concerned.
But there is no reference to the human need for a 'quiet place' for the Interational crew of our ship.
I would think there should be at least a Confessional to absolve the crew's sins.
It is just curious that the Engineers are shown with a Temple andd we attach great signficance to their religious overtones. But with humans the Cross that Shaw wears is about the only religious artifact dipicted.

MemberOvomorphDec-22-2012 12:36 PMHmm. Fair question.
I kinda assumed that Shaw's religiousness was a fairly minority position. But that's only an assumption.
The whole point of this is lost if you keep it a secret.

MemberOvomorphDec-22-2012 12:46 PMI heard a story one time that there are no Atheists in Foxholes. Although this is a 'scientific expedition' having to sleep for 2+ years, travel millions of miles away from home, unknown destination of even what is the job I would then doem of crew members might be thinking of their own mortality.
And then they meet up with the goo in the Engineer's world,
I might not only be hitting the bottle like Holloway but perhaps seek some inner solace from 'above'.
